Reykjavik is basically the only island of classical European culture in the midst of the fantastic natural beauty of Iceland. Within a few hours I will get you to know the main sights of the capital from the monumental church Hallgrímskirkja to Harpa Concert Hall. I will tell about the exotic dishes of the national cuisine, Icelandic traditions and the specific features of the local lifestyle. Get ready to take a huge number of beautiful photos and get a great impression of the authentic Reykjavik.
Travel through the key places of the city
Our car journey will begin at the main symbol of the capital: you will see the impressive 75-meter Hallgrímskirkja church, look at its interior decoration and a 25-ton mechanical organ. Then we will travel to the world's oldest working parliament called The Althing, where you will learn about Icelandic legislation and see the memorials to the first woman who became a member of parliament. We will drive through the old modern city sights, among which there is the town hall, the sculpture “Sunny Wanderer” on the waterfront, the Hofdi House, famous for the “Icelandic Summit”, and also Harpa — a modern concert hall with amazing architecture.
You will take some great photos at the working lighthouse, look around all of Reykjavik from the city hot water tank "Perlan". And, of course, the tour will not end without surprises!
